Needless to say. He loved it. He giggled at the candle. Giggled at the cake, like he could almost not believe that this was happening. I will forever treasure this.
My Baby | Personal
I can hardly believe it but a year has flown by for our little man. Yes, last year this time I was laying in a hospital bed just about getting a heavy dose of Fenegren… about to feel a WHOLE lot better. Ask anyone who knows us, Ridge is such a fun baby. He smiled very early, has caused us a lot of sleep (in the beginning), but now is just a hoot. He will smile at anyone and anything (caught him smiling at a wall once). When he gets scolded for doing something he sticks his lip out in the biggest pout you’ve ever seen. He is a little more sensitive and it doesn’t take much to hurt his feelings, or make him mad. 
He is already starting to defend his territory against Crew.
Here is a little bit of our photographic journey through the last year…
Yesterday, I took him to the back yard to try and get round one of one year pictures (yes my children have to do it in rounds). He was so excited about being outside that he just kept screaming in delight. Doesn’t he look like a little baby bird?
